Christmas in India :)

If you follow me on Instagram, then you probably would know I am currently in India visiting my family for Christmas. To be honest I am glad I am back. It’s been 4 years since I came back to Mangalore, my hometown.

I landed in Bangalore on the 13th and spent the first few days at my sister’s apartment, where we binge watched Shitt’s Creek and ate some good home food. On evenings we ventured out the UB City for a dinner and then on the other days for the launch of Atiz Fashion House collection and also as my sister runs her own blog – we were invited for a review of the fantastic restaurant Made In Punjab. Ah, what a welcome back to India! Got to relish some amazing Punjabi food made especially for us. Lip-smackingly good.  During my stay, we also managed to drop by Garuda Mall and LifeStyle for some retail therapy lots and lots of shopping 😉

This week I am in Mangalore, where it’s relatively quiet and serene. Life here is laid back and relaxing. There is not much to do so I spend my days and time with my dad and reading. Currently reading The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari. I just realized how much I miss this place! Nothing much has changed in the last 4 years since I have been back. I wake up at dawn to birds chirping and cool crisp air blowing through the windows. A herd of cows spend the night in front of our gate and are a welcome sight each morning as they wake up as well. I have been going around the town running some errands here and there but then back home as its too hot to do anything outside for a long time.

Christmas is now only 2 days away and I no longer fit into the dress I wanted to wear for the night mass. Oh well at least I am eating delicious home food made and I will get back to the gym once I am back in Krakow. I managed to take a few pictures I shot before coming here on vacation.
