Very Berry Lookbook
Hope you are having a wonderful day! I guess this is the end of summer; as its getting really cold here as the days go by and I thought it would be a good idea to share with you nice quick little ootd which was shot a few days ago before it started to rain and get even colder. The story of my top – it’s I think over 6 or 7 years old! The colour is just a deep rich tone of berrylicious goodness. It compliments my skin tone and I love it, just cannot part ways with it yet.
I generally tend to hold on to my clothes and shoes because I have invested in them. Since moving to Poland 4 years ago, with just one suitcase full of my belongings; I have made up for all that I had left behind in India. This is one of my favourite tops and so thought would be great in pictures for an autumn lookbook.
For those who have not heard of Lagielniki Shrine and the St. John Paul the II Sanctuary, both are located on South side of Krakow. Both very different and contrasting architecture just 5 minutes away on foot from each other. One of the World Youth Day mass was held here, in July. Both churches have a huge tower and viewing deck, the one at Lagielniki I visited in winter and it was so cold with no visibility. The one at the St. John Paul the II Sanctuary I visited just a few days ago. After a nice afternoon lunch and a latte, my boyfriend and I decided to go for a short walk and ended up going up the tower. The entry costs only 2zl to go up by stairs and 4zl(1 Euro) if you would like to use the lift. We, of course, took the stairs, all the way up! The view on the top was just amazing as we could see the whole of Krakow from up there. The skies were clear blue and the visibility was next to 100%. Yay! We could see Szkieletor, my office building, Ice Krakow, Kościuszko Mound(in Polish Kopiec Kościuszki), the football stadium Wisla and many more iconic landmarks from around Krakow.
Here are a few of the shots from this short walk and the visit up the tower.
