My name is Doreen and I would like to welcome you to my little corner of the web.
As the name of my blog suggests, I am Indian currently living in the beautiful, former Polish capital and city of Kings, Krakow. I was born and raised in Dubai the U.A.E, where I spent the best childhood, then moved to India with my family where I had to readjust and learn the local Indian languages. No, I am not a Polyglot, instead I am at a point where I can just about understand what someone says in local languages, but I find it hard to speak myself.
I get asked a lot how come I ended up in Poland of all places. I moved here in 2012, through the company, where I have been working for many years. I love this city and Poland in general. The food, the astounding architecture and monuments some of which are centuries old, the diverse landscapes, the people and culture, make Poland a worthwhile place to live in.
I enjoy cooking, going on long walks and day dreaming. I started blogging in 2014, but things just didn’t work out. I hadn’t found my voice yet and just blogged for the fun of it. Now years later, I have finally come to the realization that I would like to make this my full time career at some point in my life.
I would like this space to be informative, inspiring and interesting.
